We at Glenara Elite Travel will put together with your requirements a high quality golf package to include transport, accommodation and golf course green fees within Ireland (and other services such as meals, sightseeing etc.). Glenara Elite Travel packages start from 3 days/2 nights with 2 rounds of golf to bespoke packages designed around your requirements to build your dream golf vacation.

1.0 Ownership of Website

2.0 Alternations

Glenara Elite Travel reserves the right, at any time and without prior notice, to remove or cease to supply any product or service contained on this website. In the event that such removal takes place we shall not be liable to you in any way whatsoever for such removal.

3.0 Copyright

The copyright in the material contained in this Web Site belongs to Glenara Elite Travel or its licensed source. Any person may copy any part of this material, subject to the following conditions.

3.1 The material may not be used for commercial purposes;

4.0 Contract

Your contract is with Glenara Elite Travel

All packages which we provide are not an offer by us to sell any package, but an invitation to you to make an offer to us. We are free to accept that offer or to reject it. A contract exists as soon as we issue our confirmation of booking.

5.0 Accuracy of Information

Glenara Elite Travel has taken all care to ensure published information and prices are accurate, however if we identify an error or omission following publication, we will inform you before confirming your booking. The revised information will then form part of your contract. If an error or omission is discovered after your booking is made, we will always try to advise you prior to your holiday.

6.0 Package/Tour Price

6.1 All package/tour prices quoted are in £ Sterling. Prices do not include flights & airport taxes, golf club hire, golf car or car hire fees, caddies, fuel, sightseeing, telephone calls, laundry, entertainment arrangements not specified in the itinerary, all meals, drinks and beverages not specified, gratuities and any other items of a personal nature. All tour prices quoted may be subject to adjustment prior to full payment, for reasons such as changes in VAT, fuel prices, or hotel or golf course costs;

6.2 All prices quoted are per person and based on twin/double occupancy. Single rooms are available at most hotels however they will carry a supplement;

6.3 Glenara Elite Travel have agreements in place for specific rates with hotels and golf clubs, therefore it is not possible for packaged trips.

7.0 Our Service to you

Glenara Elite Travel offers a comprehensive golf tour planning service, for every package we will:

7.1 Create your tour itinerary;

7.2 Provide all transport requirements (if required):

7.3 Book and confirm all your tee times;

7.4 Book and confirm your hotel reservations;

7.5 Book any other requirements Sightseeing etc. to make your golf break a memorable success.

8.0 Deposits/Payments

8.1 A deposit of 25% is payable upon confirmation of a booking. Deposits are non-refundable, and the balance owing must be paid 6 weeks prior or at the time of booking if less than 6 weeks before the date your contracted break is due to commence. Glenara Elite Travel cannot confirm bookings until the deposit is received and we reserve the right to cancel any reservation for which the total price has not been paid by the due date in which event the deposit will be forfeited.

8.2 We reserve the right to adjust any price due to currency fluctuations or additional taxes.

8.3 No refunds or credits will be allowed for any unused tour services.

9.0 Accepted Forms of Payments

Glenara Elite Travel accepts the following forms of payment:

9.1 Glenara Elite Travel is happy to accept most major credit cards. Please note that all payments made by credit card carry a 2.5% service charge. Debit card do not carry a handling charge if they are UK issued cards, otherwise a 2.5% service charge will be applied.

9.2 Personal/Company cheques made payable to Glenara Elite Travel.

9.3 Bank Transfers – Any bank fees incurred during all transfers will be the responsibility of the client. Bank details available upon request.

10.0 Booking Confirmation

On receipt of your payment, we will e-mail confirmation of your booking with Glenara Elite Travel. The confirmation will clearly state the balance to be paid and the date by which it is due. Please check the confirmation carefully to make sure that all your booking details are correct. Contact Glenara Elite Travel if your confirmation appears to be incorrect or incomplete and we will make the necessary changes.

11.0 Cancellation Notice

Cancellations by the lead person in full, or for a member of the travelling party – due to any reason – are only effective on receipt of written notification, and in such instances, from the time of booking up to 6 weeks prior to departure, the full deposit will be forfeited. If the cancellation is made 6 weeks or less to departure date, the following charges will apply to recoverable tour costs:

11.1 6-5 weeks prior to the departure, 50 % of the tour cost will be forfeited.

11.2 5-4 weeks or less prior to departure, 75% of the tour cost will be forfeited.

11.3 4 weeks or less prior to departure, 100% of the tour cost will be forfeited.

11.4 No-shows, 100% of the tour cost will be forfeited.

12.0 If you change Your confirmed booking

It is understandable that from time to time there may be the need to make changes to your confirmed golf tour. All changes must be advised in writing by post or e-mail by the Group Leader to Glenara Elite Travel, quoting the booking reference. Glenara Elite Travel reserve the right to charge an administration fee of £20 per alteration.

13.0 Descriptions

We make every effort to ensure the accuracy of our descriptions of services, accommodation and information provided. However, we are not always able to exercise control over all the elements of the tour and it is possible that facilities may be withdrawn or changed due to various reasons such as water conservation, maintenance, or other circumstances beyond our control. We will advise you of any major changes of which we are aware but we cannot accept liability for loss, damage or inconvenience in such circumstances. Tournaments are controlled by independent organisers and committees; Glenara Elite Travel acts purely as a booking agent for these events.

14.0 Dress Code

The Group Leader should ensure appropriate dress is worn at all times on the course and in the clubhouse. In some golf clubs, a jacket and tie for gentlemen or dress with shoes for ladies are required for entry. Your Confirmed Tour Itinerary will advise the requirements at each course on your tour. Glenara Elite Travel accepts no responsibility if any of the group are refused access to the course or the clubhouse due to inappropriate attire.

15.0 Standard of Play/Golf Etiquette

Knowledge of golf etiquette and the rules of golf are expected by all members of your group. Some golf courses will require handicap certificates before accepting visitors, which Glenara Elite Travel will try to advise you of at the time of booking. However, all group members must carry handicap certificates in case of an on the spot request by any of the golf courses played.

16.0 Tee-Times

We will make every endeavour to confirm your requested tee-times but courses do reserve the right to alter preferred tee-times. If your confirmed golf club cancel your reservation or change your tee time we will try to find a suitable alternative. You will be charged or refunded for any difference in the original cost. Such changes do not entitle you to cancel a holiday that is part of a tour/package. Please also be aware that some golf courses may pair you up with other golfers during peak times.

17.0 Condition of Course

Although the standard of the courses we have selected is generally excellent we are unable to always be aware of when course maintenance on tee boxes, fairways and greens are being carried out. Glenara Elite Travel can therefore not be held responsible for the condition of the golf courses during your tour. We will of course advise you when we are made aware of planned course maintenance. At times especially during winter months, or prior to special events, competitions and tournaments, golf clubs may enforce the use of playing mats in order to protect certain areas of the course.

There may be a number of circumstances where it is deemed to be accepted as normal playing conditions by the client, and is not the responsibility of Glenara Elite Travel

17.1 The reshaping of bunkers, GUR or maintenance of tees and greens;

17.2 The alteration of sequence in which holes are played;

17.3 The request to start on the 10^th hole rather than the 1^st to ensure reasonable flow around the golf course;

17.4 Tee times delayed by the starter.

18.0 Inclement Weather

Some weather conditions render golf courses unplayable which is unavoidable at times during the year. Golf courses reserve the right to close or operate temporary tee boxes / greens or delay starting tee times due to fog or lightning storms. Glenara Elite Travel cannot be held responsible due to inclement weather conditions. Please note that trolley and buggy bans occur frequently when a course is wet, any pre-paid trollies and buggies that are banned for use due to inclement weather are non-refundable.

19.0 Force Majeure

Glenara Elite Travel will not be liable for additional expenses incurred through travel delay, Acts of God, force majeure or events beyond our control. Force majeure is unusual and unforeseeable circumstances beyond our control such as war or threat of war, riots, civil unrest, terrorist activity, industrial disputes, natural or nuclear disaster, fire or adverse weather conditions.

20.0 Transport

Glenara Elite Travel will arrange minibus and chauffeur car transfers with drivers as required for your tour. We will also arrange coach and self-drive rental cars upon request. Any requests for snack products on the requested form of transport will be at an additional charge and arranged prior to the booking confirmation. Glenara Elite Travel is not liable for loss, damage or theft of luggage or personal belongings, for personal injury, accident or illness on any vehicle or at any place throughout the tour.

21.0 Passports/Visa’s

It is your responsibility to have valid travel documents. A passport is necessary to travel to all European countries. If travelling between Northern Ireland, Southern Ireland Scotland, England and Wales a passport is not always necessary, but we recommend all travellers carry a valid passport with them. Most European countries enjoy the same level of medical service as the United Kingdom, however we would recommend all UK clients obtain their European Health Insurance Card (EHIC) card before travelling at, (http://www.nhs.uk/NHSEngland/Healthcareabroad/EHIC/Pages/about-the-ehic.aspx).

If travelling with us from an International destination, it is up to the individual traveller to ensure that they have the necessary visas and documents for travelling, Glenara Elite Travel holds no responsibility for travellers who cannot travel due to inappropriate travel documents.

22.0 Golf Travel Insurance/Medical Insurance

Clients are strongly advised to take out adequate insurance against all possible risks including medical care, personal injury, death, baggage loss, theft and cancellation or curtailment of tour. You should also ensure that your golf equipment is covered in the policy.

23.0 Complaints

If the circumstance should arise that you have a complaint, with the hotel, golf course, or any of the Amateur Tournaments you must discuss it at the time with who the complaint is with and via e-mail, ensuring a copy is also sent to Glenara Elite Travel (frances@glenara-elite-travel.co.uk). We are unable to consider complaints or claims for compensation if we have not been notified during your stay. All complaints must be received in writing within 28 days of your departure from the hotel to: –

24.0 Liability

If you have any complaints concerning any services provided by Glenara Elite Travel you must inform us in writing or e-mail within 28 days of your departure date. Glenara Elite Travel cannot accept any liability for the arrangements you have booked. If you have a complaint concerning any services we provide, as opposed to any service provided by any third party such as a hotel for whom Glenara Elite Travel are not responsible, you must inform us immediately in writing within 28 days of your departure date. We regret we cannot accept any liability if we are not so notified. Our maximum liability to you if we are found to have been at fault in relation to any service we provide is limited to the commission we have earned or are due to earn in relation to the booking in question.

25.0 Your financial Protection

All packages provided by Glenara Elite Travel are covered under insurance.

26.0 Changes to Terms and Conditions

We reserve the right to change these terms and conditions at any time by posting changes on the Web Site. It is your responsibility to review the Web Site terms and conditions to ensure you are aware of the latest terms and conditions.
